About QuantKit, and who writes it.
QuantKit is a show-your-work desk for retail algorithmic traders. Every figure on this site carries its source, date and arithmetic — reproduce it from the page.

The author is a pseudonym. Check the figures, not the byline.
Who writes this
Timoranjes is an independent quantitative researcher in Hong Kong who builds, tests and documents trading systems in public — the method, the sources and the arithmetic are on every page, so nothing here rests on who the author is.
The work is published under a pseudonym. The test is the work: each figure names its source and date and shows its arithmetic, so you can rebuild it without trusting the author.
How to check this site. Every figure links to its source, so you can rebuild it yourself.

What QuantKit is, and is not
The scope is narrow on purpose. It keeps every claim on the site checkable.
It is
- Dated, sourced broker cost figures, with the formula shown and the method written down.
- A free, delayed market-data endpoint for A-share, Hong Kong and US markets.
- Tools the author uses: spreadsheets, Python toolkits and prompt systems, sold on Gumroad.
- A public corrections log. Mistakes are logged, not quietly edited.
It is not
- A signal service. No trade signals, alerts or calls are sold or given.
- Advice. Nothing here is financial or investment advice.
- A referral business. There are no broker referral links and no commissions from brokers.
- A track record. The strategy log is simulated and publishes no results.
How QuantKit is paid is set out in the disclosure. Questions or errors: [email protected].
