Backtest verification for MT5 expert advisors
VerifyEA checks an MT5 backtest bar by bar, trade by trade and sum by sum. You send an expert advisor and its settings. You get a report in which every figure shows its source and arithmetic, and a package that lets you repeat each check yourself.

What you get
Four parts. Each one exists so that a check can be repeated by someone who was not there when it was run.
-
Report
Every figure comes with its source, its date and its arithmetic, in the same form as the figures on this site. Nothing is stated without a way to rebuild it.
-
Reproducible package
The expert advisor’s file hash, the .set file, the MT5 report the checks were run against, and a note on the data source. With these, each check can be run again.
-
Findings list
Each finding has a severity, the check that found it and the evidence. A check that cannot be run for lack of evidence is listed as unverified. It is never listed as passed.
-
Reproduction steps
Numbered steps that take the package to the same result on your own machine, written for someone who has not seen the report.
Sample report
The sample shows the full structure of a report: header, parameters, results and three annotated findings.

What it cannot tell you
A verification report checks the statistics and the arithmetic. It does not tell you whether you will make money.
- No profitability verdict: a report that checks out is not a report that is good.
- No forward-looking claim about how the expert advisor will behave on a live account.
- No endorsement of the expert advisor, its author or its seller.
- No guarantee, of results or of the absence of faults the checks do not cover.
Nothing on this page is financial advice. Claims policy: how QuantKit is paid and what it claims.
How it works
- Upload the expert advisor and its .set file.
- We run the checks and compare each result with the MT5 report.
- You receive the report, the findings list and the hashes.
- On the reviewed tier, a person makes a second pass over the findings before delivery.
Nothing can be uploaded yet. The upload step opens with the service.

Questions
What does it check?
Whether the report’s arithmetic and structure hold up: which bar each trade used, whether the trade count matches an independent run, whether lot sizes follow the stated risk, whether commission and swap are accounted for, and how good the price history was. The 12-check checklist lists them.
What does it not tell you?
Whether the expert advisor will make money. It gives no profitability verdict, no forward-looking claim, no endorsement and no guarantee. It also cannot certify intraday equity-based loss limits from a closed-trade report alone, because floating losses do not appear in one. When a check needs evidence the report lacks, the result is “unverified”.
How long does it take?
The turnaround is announced at launch. We will not state one until we have run enough reports to know it.
Who is it for?
Anyone holding an MT5 Strategy Tester report who wants to know whether its arithmetic holds: the developer of an expert advisor, a buyer weighing one, or someone auditing a seller’s claims.
What about refunds?
Refund terms are announced at launch. They will be published here, and in the listing, before any order opens.
Why a founding price?
The service has not yet been run for a paying client. The first reports are the test of the process, so the first price is the lowest one. Founding-list members lock $49 for their first report.
